DIGIPAK BACK COVER

  • First I create the list of songs within the album: Though the original artist, Mullaly, doesn’t have a whole set of songs. It isn’t considered as an album, as each song doesn’t connect in any way. Which is why I made the Digipak an EP to tell the viewer, that the CD doesn’t contain songs that relate to one another.
So the overall contents of the CD and the song list would be:

00:03 São Paulo

03:32 Romanic explosion

06:34 Rift

08:52 Paradise

  • Each timing of the song also connects to how long the song is, it tells the audience how long the CD lasts for and tells them the time period of when each song starts. (This is a normal convention that appears throughout many Digipaks)
  • Second is the paragraph of the record label:
They would normally consist of various signs such as the copyright symbol and the sound recording copyright symbol. To which allows the claim of a song or album to a parent company. The text before or after these symbols would consist of the company’s title: E.g. ©2025 COMPANY ℗ COMPANY
  • Another set of information would include licensing towards the same company, or the production company that holds the rights to distribute and manufacture. To allow recognition of which company can and only will be able to manufacture the CD and gain profit from it. The actual paragraph would go along the lines of: Under exclusive licence to COMPANY
The copyright of the sound (or audio)recordings is owned by COMPANY

SPINE

The spine of a digipak in the outer parts consists typically of three subjects.

The artist name, the title of the digipak/album or single and the record label/ studio.

The colours which i choose are the part of the front cover so it gives a subtle reference to the front cover

DRAFT OF THE FINAL COVER

The main reason I drafted this cover page is because the colour were to bright and the font wasn’t what i imagined during production
